The role

Someone with creativity and high-level copywriting ability. Technical writing experience and an understanding of SEO and keywords would be an advantage. You will plan and implement strategic PR campaigns and integrated campaigns, encompassing digital and social media activity, collaborating with our digital and marketing team members to deliver outstanding work.

You will assist the senior management team in delivering communications strategies for our clients. You can expect to be building relationships with relevant influencers (journalists, bloggers and media outlets), crafting compelling messages to drive results for our clients, collaborating to develop pitch-winning strategies and driving our own digital and content strategy. We are a fast-paced organisation so you will need to be on the ball from the get-go, proactively developing ideas and delivering every task to the highest standard.

Skills and experience:

  • Minimum three years’ PR experience, preferably in an agency but in-house will be considered
  • A high quality portfolio that demonstrates successful outcomes of previous experience
  • Excellent senior communicator with strong writing skills
  • Able to translate technically challenging subject matters into engaging stories for both media and content marketing
  • Proven media relations skills and contacts
  • Experience in delivering campaigns from planning through to evaluation
  • Fluency in digital/social media platforms
  • A creative brain
  • Experience in pitching and driving new business
  • Appetite to stay ahead of emerging PR trends
  • Focus on continuing professional development and lifelong learning

Salary: Depends on experience

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9.00am – 5.30pm

Annual leave: 25 days plus bank holidays (accrued on a month by month basis)

Account Executive

JOB SUMMARY:

To provide support services to a wide portfolio of clients with varying marketing needs. In association with your line manager you will plan and deliver work necessary to undertake such clients’ marketing activities. A broad understanding of a range of marketing tools – both in choosing the correct ones for each client and then planning, utilising and measuring the effectiveness of each tool.

The role will involve liaison with clients, the media and a wide range of suppliers.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work in collaboration with other members of the Plinkfizz team to deliver excellent marketing services.
  • To innovate our solutions through continual learning and development.
  • Deliver customer service excellence.
  • Measure the outcomes of all marketing activities and leverage knowledge and results to deliver successful projects.
  • Create dynamic, well informed collaborative relationships with our clients and supplier partners.
  • To case manage and take responsibility for specific clients, building excellent relations with those clients and assisting in the management of their marketing needs.
  • Planning, managing and delivering all aspects of their marketing requirements within an agreed amount of time and to an agreed timeframe, in conjunction with your line manager.
  • To create marketing strategies for clients, bespoke to each client’s needs and their target customers, choosing and using the right tools for them.
  • Undertaking all duties necessary to deliver such strategies and marketing objectives, utilising the agreed tools in a strategic and measureable way.
  • Co-ordinate the creation of excellent content and then share this content through tools such as social media, websites, editorials, advertising, newsletters, brochures, awards, etc – plus a range of other online and offline tools.
  • Co-ordinating and managing suppliers for those clients e.g. designers and printers to deliver promotional material to deadlines.
  • Arranging and attending photo-calls to take photos as needed.
  • Liaise with all client organisations as needed to encourage their longer-term involvement with Plinkfizz and recommendations.
  • To compile reports in line with agreed client KPIs.
  • Where appropriate, with other staff or individually, manage/attend events as a representative of Plinkfizz.
  • To assist Plinkfizz with all other clients and in all areas of business as necessary.
