The role:
- Design Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of designers, providing guidance, feedback, and support to elevate their skills and foster a collaborative and creative work environment.
- Creative Conceptualisation: Collaborate with the creative team and clients to develop innovative design concepts that align with client objectives, market trends, and industry best practices.
- Project Ownership: Take ownership of complex design projects, managing them from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time, on budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
- Multimedia Design: Create visually compelling designs for a wide range of marketing materials, including websites, print collateral, digital assets, branding materials, social media graphics, and advertisements.
- Brand Stewardship: Ensure all design work adheres to established branding guidelines, maintaining a consistent visual identity across all materials.
- Client Engagement: Act as a primary point of contact for clients, understanding their design needs, presenting design concepts, and effectively incorporating client feedback.
- Strategic Thinking: Contribute to the development of design strategies that align with clients’ overall marketing goals, helping them achieve maximum impact.
- File Management: Organise and manage design files and assets for easy retrieval and future reference.
- Industry Expertise: Stay at the forefront of industry trends, design software updates, and emerging creative techniques, bringing fresh ideas and best practices to the team.
- Quality Assurance: Review and proofread designs to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with project objectives.

Ability to commute/relocate:
- Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Education:
- Degree and/or work-based training in a relevant subject
Experience:
- Degree in Design/ and/or professional accreditation would be an advantage
- 8+ years of professional experience, at least 5 years of management experience in a fast-paced, client-facing role.
Language:
Work Location: Onsite, with the option of occasional work from home.
