As a Marketing Account Executive, you’ll be responsible for supporting the Account Manager and wider team in delivering campaigns and day-to-day client communications. You’ll assist in project coordination, reporting, content preparation, and administrative support – helping to ensure all work is delivered on time, on brand, and to brief.
This is an ideal role for someone early in their marketing career who wants to develop broad experience across campaigns, digital channels, and client service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support Account Managers with day-to-day client liaison and communications.
- Help coordinate campaign activity including email, social media, content, paid media and events.
- Brief internal teams on client requirements and track progress across tasks.
- Assist in preparing client reports and presentations.
- Take meeting notes and ensure timely follow-ups and action tracking.
- Conduct competitor and industry research to support campaign planning.
- Help manage and update project management tools and timelines.
- Perform general admin duties related to accounts and campaign delivery.
Requirements:
- 6–12 months+ of experience in a marketing, communications or agency environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational ability.
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and take initiative.
- Familiarity with key marketing platforms such as social media, email marketing, and CMS systems.
- Comfortable working across multiple projects and deadlines.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Desirable:
- Degree or qualification in marketing, communications, media or similar.
- Understanding of digital marketing concepts.
- Experience using project or campaign management tools.
- Basic analytics or reporting knowledge.
Job Type: Full-time, 37.5 hours
Work days: Monday to Friday
Language: English (required)
Work Location: Onsite, with the option of occasional work from home.
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
