We’re looking for a creative and results-driven Digital PR Specialist to join our growing digital marketing team. You’ll be responsible for delivering compelling digital PR campaigns that drive high-quality backlinks, increase brand visibility, and support SEO performance.
This role is ideal for someone with a solid understanding of media landscapes, an eye for a good story, and experience in generating online coverage from national, regional, and niche publications.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, execute and manage creative digital PR campaigns to drive brand awareness and SEO authority.
- Identify newsworthy angles, trends, and insights to create content that earns coverage and links.
- Build and maintain relationships with journalists, bloggers, and online media contacts.
- Write press releases, media outreach emails, and pitch documents tailored to each audience.
- Write compelling online content for client case studies, blogs, whitepapers.
- Craft SEO website content designed to increase website visibility and performance.
- Collaborate with SEO, content, and social teams to align PR activity with wider digital strategies.
- Monitor, measure and report on PR coverage and link performance using tools like Ahrefs, SEMRush, and Google Analytics.
- Stay up to date with PR, digital marketing, and media trends to inform creative direction.
Requirements
Essential:
- Minimum 1–2 years’ experience in a Digital PR, PR, or Outreach role
- Proven track record of securing digital coverage and backlinks from authoritative publications.
- Strong writing skills – able to produce compelling pitches and engaging PR content.
- A proactive and creative thinker with an understanding of what makes a story newsworthy.
- Familiar with tools such as Media databases, BuzzSumo, SEMrush/Ahrefs, and Google Analytics.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Desirable:
- Experience working on data-led or reactive newsjacking PR campaigns.
- Understanding of how digital PR supports wider SEO and content strategies.
- Familiarity with using digital tools to analyse performance and demonstrate ROI.
- Agency experience or fast-paced inhouse experience.
Job Type: Full-time, 37.5 hours
Work days: Monday to Friday
Language: English (required)
Work Location: Onsite, with the option of occasional work from home.
