Integrated marketing agency Plinkfizz will be swapping gantt charts for walking boots on Saturday 13th October.
As part of the Plinkfizz 15th anniversary celebrations, the team and its clients will be bringing their pets together for a fun walk in aid of City Dogs Home.
Plinkfizz is hosting 15 events across the year to mark this milestone birthday with a focus on fundraising for local charities.
Inspired by Plinkfizz’s CEO of Happiness Jasper Hawkins, the Plinkfizz Pooch Parade aims to gather essential supplies for the rescue centre and asks walkers to bring donations as an “entry fee”.
The walk starts and ends at the Plinkfizz office in Trent Vale on Saturday October 13th at 10am and is a two mile flat route with an average walking time of 45 minutes. Donations of items which are much needed by the shelter include:
• Bedding and sheets (but nothing with stuffing inside)
• Dry and tinned food for small and large dogs
• Tough toys to entertain the pooches
• Doggie treats
Fiona Hawkins, managing director at Plinkfizz said: “We are all dog lovers and Plinkfizz, between us we have 15 pets and many team members bring their four legged friends in to the office when Jasper is doing official CEO business elsewhere.
“The walk is open to all of our staff and clients with or without dogs and will be a fun morning for everyone.
“Not surprisingly, we wanted one of our anniversary events to benefit a local animal charity and the City Dogs Home seemed to be an obvious choice as some of our pooches hailed from there. I hope lots of our clients will come to enjoy the celebration with us and help gather supplies for the centre.”
Plinkfizz will have a donation box for the City Dogs Home for those who want to donate but can’t make the event.
