We’re excited to announce we are now officially a multi-award winning agency.
The office is still buzzing after we received our second award in as many weeks.
The first was the Best Small Agency at the Northern Marketing Awards. And on Friday night, a new trophy was added to our collection making Plinkfizz officially the gold winners of Best Integrated Campaign for the CiPR Midlands Pride Awards.
We enjoyed a wonderful night at The Vox in Birmingham and were up against some fantastic campaigns.
Closer Than You Think was our winning campaign which resulted in a 30 per cent rise in applications to the City of Stoke-on-Trent Sixth Form College. A blend of marketing, design and PR came together to boost student recruitment for the college. We developed creative video content which played out on various social platforms including Facebook, Instagram and YouTube, this included a three minute promotional film about the Futures Programme. A series of press releases were produced over the summer to generate awareness and raise the college’s profile and outdoor billboards were designed and strategically placed throughout the city. Emails were also distributed to the target audience, which was split into two – students and parents.
The judges’ comments were fantastic “A combination of highly relevant research and clever tactics across a range of channels saw this campaign win a competitive category. Both applications and footfall to the college’s open day increased, vindicating the decision to reallocate some of the college’s marketing budget to PR and social media activity. The campaign’s key messages clearly resonated with prospective students and those closest to them.”
This year we have also been recognised as a leading PR agency by independent publisher – Prolific North where we were ranked 40th on the list based on overall business performance.
So 2017 has been an exciting year for us all at Plinkfizz and hopefully even more is to come in 2018.
