Plinkfizz backs Burslem Open for Business event

We are excited following a stimulating and positive event held by the Burslem Regeneration Trust this week.

Burslem Open for Business showcased what the town can do for businesses and encouraged locals to get on board to help Burslem become the thriving town it once was.

It is no secret that here at Plinkfizz, we radiate with pride for our modest county and take many opportunities to celebrate its people and the heritage. This is exactly what the Burslem Regeneration Trust aims to do by working to make it ‘a great place for people to live, work, visit and invest in’.

So we were pleased to assist in generating coverage for the event by inviting the local media down, including BBC Radio Stoke, Signal One and The Sentinel.

The Burslem Regeneration Trust is supported by many people including our client the City Learning Trust who has recently breathed new life into the Burslem Old Town Hall and relocated Haywood Sixth Form Academy into the premises.

The event brought businesses from around the area together to showcase Burslem as a place to be for business. Locals also gave their thoughts, and these ranged to one man band Otters Tears to employer of 300+ Synectics, which demonstrated the diversity of the wonderful town.

Businesses were able to benefit from the event as they were offered advice, support and information regarding financial grants available and they were able to take advantage of the networking opportunities as well as great breakfast!

Plinkfizz truly supports the resurgence of this historic town and it was great to be involved in promoting the event. We look forward to watching business thrive in Burslem.
