STAFFORDSHIRE law firm Bowcock & Pursaill will host a special ‘Elevenses at Bowcocks’ coffee morning in support of Macmillan’s World’s Biggest Coffee Morning.
Everyone is invited to drop into their historic Leek office in St Edward Street on Friday September 25th, where staff will be rolling up their sleeves to serve up tea and cake to visitors in return for a donation to the cancer charity.
The coffee morning will run from 11am until 12 noon, and in addition to a wonderful array of cakes on sale staff will be selling jams and curds they’ve made with all proceeds going towards Macmillan Cancer Support.
Emma Gould, a paralegal at Bowcock & Pursaill who is organising the event, said: “We’re proud to be able to support Macmillan’s World’s Biggest Coffee Morning again this year, and I hope lots of people will take the opportunity to pop in and enjoy coffee and cake with us.
“Everyone knows someone who has been touched by cancer, and this national event is a wonderful and simple way to support such a good cause.”
Last year alone Macmillan’s World’s Biggest Coffee Morning raised £25 million, and since the event began in 1990 the event has raised over £138 million for Macmillan.
