
When Plinkfizz was asked to develop a brand identity for a project backed by the National Skills Academy for Retail, Stoke-on-Trent City Council and Stoke-on-Trent College, we jumped at the chance to be involved with such forward thinking and dynamic organisations.
The unnamed ‘skills shop’ concept had yet to finalise its product offering, so we undertook lengthy market research to identify potential markets and areas for growth. The result is ‘The Store’, a brand identity that very clearly communicates the project, its ambitions and its delivery partners.
For the soft launch of the project we established direct mail activity to all local retail businesses, PR support to specialist publications and the launch of an information based website. Organisations now involved with The Store include Tesco, Sainsburys and Alton Towers.
