Tammy Barrett joins the studio team as graphic designer and Tina Meigh takes on a new role as marketing communications project manager.
Tammy returns to the Plinkfizz fold, having previously worked with the team between 2004 and 2010, whilst running her own business and managing the Stoke franchise for Printing.com.
Tina joins from Stoke-on-Trent City Council, where she spent nine years as communications officer and marketing & research officer. Her new role will incorporate PR, social media management, website project management and CMS training for clients.
Fiona Hawkins, owner and MD of Plinkfizz, said: “Both Tammy and Tina bring a wealth of experience to the team and we’re really pleased to welcome them on board.
“Tina began working with us on a short term basis in July. Over the past three months, she has been instrumental in delivering outstanding work for our clients and has already proven herself invaluable.”
Recent highlights from Tina’s portfolio of clients include launching a new website for Steelworks Dance & Performance Academy www.steelworksacademy.co.uk and helping to drive a 20% sales uplift for national vacuum storage client, Packmate, through a digital marketing campaign.
Tina said: “I’m really excited about the digital world – that’s the future for our industry. I love coming into work every day to do a job that I genuinely enjoy, so I’m really happy to be joining the team on a permanent basis.”
Fiona Hawkins continued: “Since rejoining us this month, Tammy has already been working on website designs for clients and has created some fantastic concepts for new business pitches.”
Tammy previously worked with Plinkfizz on major campaigns including print work for the MOD and rebrands for Staffordshire Chamber of Commerce and the University Quarter.
Tammy said: “It’s the perfect time for me to return to work after having my three children. Plinkfizz is a fantastic agency, full of creativity and talent. I’m already enjoying being back in the team.”
